Who we are

Spickle – From A to Z (Rua Primeiro de Dezembro, n.º 38, 1.º andar, 8100-615 Loulé; spickle.linguist@gmail.com) is the controller of the personal data collected on this website.

What data we collect

Only the data you voluntarily send us through the quote request form or by email: your name, email address, telephone number (optional) and any information you include in your request.

How we use your data

To respond to your request, prepare quotes and provide the services you have engaged us for. We do not use your data for marketing purposes, nor do we disclose or sell it to third parties.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent and on the need to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR).

Who has access to your data

Requests sent through the form reach us by email, either forwarded by the Web3Forms service or sent from your own email app. Our email is managed through Gmail (Google). Web3Forms and Google act solely for the purpose of delivering and storing the messages.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation is processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under that service’s terms and privacy policy. We use those messages only to reply to your request.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; any such transfer relies on the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

Documents and confidentiality

All documents you send us for translation are handled in strict confidence and used exclusively to perform the service.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data only for as long as necessary to respond to your request, provide the service and comply with our legal obligations, in particular tax obligations.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are hosted on the website itself, with no requests made to external services.

Your rights

You may, at any time, request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability of your data, object to its processing or withdraw your consent by writing to spickle.linguist@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt (opens in a new window)).
